Dear Lakeside Families, 

I hope your family is doing well and staying healthy. Thank you for partnering with your child's teacher during virtual learning. I have been attending live classes and seeing 90-100% of our Lakeside students logged in and engaged in learning daily. I am so proud of the kids' hard work, and your commitment to helping your child access the curriculum on a daily basis! I also want to commend you for your perseverance and optimism through this new learning model. I recognize that juggling work, children, and all the other adult responsibilities are enough as it is. (Some days it just might be nice to be a kid again!) I welcome your feedback and suggestions about tweaks that may be helpful for your family.

Oshkosh Area School District Referendum Information

The Oshkosh Area School District has two school funding requests on the Nov. 3 ballot:

• Q1: renew existing funds for school operations

• Q2: invest capital funds to improve district school buildings

If voters approve Q1, funds would support academic programs, technology for learning and student support services - with no tax increase.

If voters approve Q2, funds would be invested in our school buildings to improve safety and accessibility, provide more flexible learning spaces, address building maintenance needs and create more cost-effective schools.

If anyone in your household has COVID symptoms, is awaiting COVID test results, is a contact of a positive COVID case, or has tested positive for COVID, you must wait until your quarantine is over before picking up materials from school.
